has anyone played or bought the orange box. if you did, let me know what you think

for the past couple years, gamers have been clamoring for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii; unfortunately nobody has been too clear on if any of them are worth the money coming from the pockets of the blue collar working class. for starters, it all depends on your poison. the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 offer the attributes of old school consoles with online capabilities. by 'old school' i mean the feel of the controls, the playability of the games, and given the return of first person shooters, the all around feel of playing doom at three in the morning while listening to wu-tang clan's 36 chambers. they both cost a decent chunk of change though; $599.99 for the Playstation 3 60g (recently for 80g as well), and $499.99 for the 40g. i have inside information, though, that there will be a price drop in the 60g by $100, and rumors that there will be a 40g for $400. the Xbox 360 with the hard drive is $399.99, while the one without the hard drive cost a meaningless $299.99. i say meaningless because why a gamer wouldn't save their allowence for another month for a 360 hard drive is beyond me. the Wii, on the otherhand, is an anomaly of the gaming world. it has no discernable attributes of any gaming system ever made (thanks to the great mind of Miyamoto),  and it's  the cheapest next gen system available ( by a whopping $249.99). the problem, though, is availabiliy. the Wii was at the top of my list of my first nex gen consoles of the millenium, but because of the availability of the system, many websites were taking advantage of the scarce findings by selling it with games we might not want, so because of this, i had to settle for something else. having said this, let's get to the games. it has been said that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder', but to gamers this is a crock of shit. the 'eye' is focused on the important shit, like playability of games, A.I. intelligence, and all around accentuation of graphics. the Xbox never failed at graphics or keeping interest in it's exclusive games, but neither did the Playstation, or Nintendo. where do we stand, you ask......wait for it........360. graphics, great 'exclusive' games, and low price for it's capabilities? all my money is on it......literaly

just got done playing the bioshock demo (release date is next week), and it's completely insane. if anyone out there has ever played prey (360) then you will love this game.

stranglehold was recently added to the xbox live marketplace, and i can't stop playing it. is this game as good as i think it is?
